Simultaneous interpreting
The interpreter translates at the same time as the speaker talks, generally from a booth in face-to-face meetings or platforms such as Zoom in hybrid and virtual events.

Consecutive & liaison interpreting
The interpreter listens to the message in the source language, takes notes and delivers their translation once the speaker has finished. This method is suitable for events where two different languages are spoken.
Whispered interpreting
The interpreter whispers the translation into the participant's ear as the speaker talks. Also known as chuchotage, this technique is the ideal solution for small events where only a few participants speak a different language.

Alba Madero is a Madrid-based professional interpreter and translator providing services in English, Spanish, French, and Catalan.
With a Postgraduate Degree in Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Alba Madero has extensive experience working at multilingual events as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter.
Her broad experience spans a wide range of fields, including finance, health sciences and human rights.
Since 2021, Alba Madero has also been training future interpreters as an Associate Lecturer of Interpretation at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
